Hi all!
I am Laura and I am the teacher author who writes at Where the Magic Happens. I have been teaching for 16 years. 15 of which, I taught ESL and 1st grade. This is my first year in 2nd grade and I am in L-O-V-E! My students are a gift to me and I love them dearly, they are my family away from my family!
I am originally from Colombia, South America. I first came to the U.S. to complete some university courses and I met my wonderful husband. I call him Honey Graham, my students call him that too. If you see him around, please give him a high five! He is a really sweet guy! We live in a city on the coast of NC with our two boys and our little chihuahua dog, Prancer.
I opened my Teachers Pay Teachers store in the summer of 2013 and I am so grateful for the friends and connections that I have made!
